Has any one done this to jump start a stuck scale? Wondering if it really works.

I have never heard of that- but google tells me its pretty intense. 

 

My advocate recommends going back to a pre-op diet of 2 protein shakes a day, one small meal of lean protein, 1/2 cup non-starchy veggies, 1/2 cup of fruit. Nothing fried or breaded- no sugar

 

Many of their patients do this for a few weeks to get the weight loss going again, others stay on it long term- which is okay for us banded people :)

Carb cycling does work to shed fat. It's a method a lot of body builders/bikini competitors do a couple months out before a show to help lean out.
