ardita Report post Posted April 22, 2010 Any of you old timers want to explain about what the Ducksack Club is, and Gym Rats and how one becomes a member? The Bears have been covered but these others could also use explanation. Thanks. this is a great thread.
mistymee Report post Posted April 22, 2010 (edited) Any of you old timers want to explain about what the Ducksack Club is, and Gym Rats and how one becomes a member? The Bears have been covered but these others could also use explanation. Thanks. this is a great thread. Ducksack club is for those that own and live in our Ducksacks... PM duckie for a number.. though she's lame about getting back to you. http://www.thinnerti...ksack-club.html http://www.thinnerti...beware-lol.html Gym Rats are those that have a goal to exercise, even if it's walking around the block.. PM Porche for a number. He also tends to come and go infrequently these days so it might take a little bit of time to get a number there. http://www.thinnerti...rats-unite.html Edited February 23, 2012 by mistymee
ardita Report post Posted April 22, 2010 Thanks for that info, Misty. I wondered about some of those and did not know who was the keeper of each. There may even be another one or two but I am being lazy. Will try to remember to ask in here when I come across them. A few more abbreviations to add to the list: VSG-vertical sleeve gastrectomy-sleevers don't get rerouted or banded, they get most of stomach removed then are stapled into a tube shaped "sleeve" VBG-vertical banded gastrectomy-involves banding, is not same as sleeve gastrectomy Sleevers-had VSG Sleeve sister-female meber who also had VSG
mistymee Report post Posted April 22, 2010 You're welcome. VBG-vertical banded gastrectomy-involves banding, is not same as sleeve gastrectomy Oh, and here I thought they were the same.. good to know!

mistymee Report post Posted November 3, 2010 Hey I didn't see Foamies or PB-productive burp Go ahead and add any you see missing! (Including definitions!) I'm not too familiar with the PB as productive burp. To me- PB means either probiotics (pb8 brand) or the powdered peanut butter- (pb2- brand) so it's good to add them. mistymee Report post Posted November 3, 2010 :confused:What's bumpity bump bump??? and someone further up said "bumping it up". What's that all about? Bumping it up so that it's on the list so new people see it.. many people don't think to go look at older threads, even ones that are stickied (aka always at the top of the section) Typically posting just to bump up a thread is frowned upon.. but there are special cases, like this where it's appropriate.. new terms are rarely still added but it's nice when there's a large influx of new people to bump some of these threads back to the top again so they're found. HTH (hope that helps )

cinwa Report post Posted April 26, 2012 What is it called when you lose 200 pounds? I think it's "twoterland". I know it's "tooterville" when you get into the 200's.
Number Cruncher Report post Posted April 26, 2012 I think it's "twoterland". I know it's "tooterville" when you get into the 200's. Thank you Corrine... But I think we can do better than that... If losing 100 pounds puts you in the Century Club.... losing 200 pounds puts you in the Bicentennial Club.... So let it be written..... 4 Aunt Beck, michelleann31, sapphire and 1 other reacted to this
