Good evening, Paul Here. two years post gastric sleeve. Pleased with results. lost 100 lbs. Just found out I have developed Barretts Esophagus. Conversation with my surgeon now is the potential need to move forward with having a bypass now to address the reflux, issues that have lead to the Barretts Esophagus. Anyone else have this experience? What was your experience with having the bypass following the sleeve? Did you acquire side effects from second surgery? did you lose more weight with this intervention? thanks, please redirect me if this is not the correct forum for this type of discussion. GERD reflux is a very common side effect of sleeve surgery, and a revision to a gastric bypass should resolve the GERD reflux.  If you want to know more about revision surgery, I suggest that you read the postings on the TTF board entitled Weight Loss Surgery revisions.  Here is a link:
