I'm New ...... hello

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone

I'm New here,  I had a lap band fitted 2011 and it worked well I lost five stone .. then it went wrong  had to have it removed 2018 and was told at the time they would revise to a sleeve .  Then I was disappointed as on the day of surgery it was decided they  wouldn't do the revision the same day, anyway that was January 2018 and I now have a date for the sleeve on 20 March 2019 ..... excited,  and nervous for this new journey and really looking forward to losing the weight I've gained over a year as putting weight back on has made a huge difference to  the way I feel, my confidence is at an all time low and in hate what I look like once again .

I'm so glad I've found this site,   I can see how much you all support each other and that so lovely.

I would be grateful for any advice or support from any sleevers recnt sleevers or few years down the line from the wls also any lap band revision to sleevers

also if  I can buddy up with someone having the same surgery then that would be good too .

Thank you for reading   xx grateful for anyone taking the time to reply xx

Welcome to Thinner Times Cosytoes!

Sorry to hear that you had to have your band removed - you had tremendous success with it but your story is not uncommon.

I did have a VSG but there are plenty of successful VSG'ers who can guide you on your journey.
