Sip, sip, sip

walk,walk,walk

the more you walk, the better you will feel.

The first few days after surgery are the toughest - but it gets a lot better and you will be amazed at the amount of weight you will lose if you stick to the food program.

And, yes, the "sip, sip, sip, walk, walk, walk" advice is really important.

Exciting times for sure!

Just focus on getting your fluids in and some regular walking - the rest will follow.

Thanks all! I will keep you all posted. I hope I get out of the hospital the next day. I'm a little worried. My doc said no eating or drinking after 12 tomorrow. I have not been on any diet at all. I would like to stay on the liquid diet longer then suggested. I mean I have eaten everything there is to eat in my life. Do you all think that's ok? Any other tips?

Surgery went good. I had a tough day of it, and still having one. Can't sleep from pain, nausea and going to the bathroom. I'm doing my walking though. And a little sipping

:( I'm sorry to hear this..... you just keep telling them you have pain and nausea and want a different med.... I know they gave me zophan in the hospital and as soon as my doc changed it to phenagren I finally got relief and was able to sleep much better! When you see your surgon in the morning make sure you tell him/her what you need!

They've already discharged me. Did it last night. I have Zofran dissolvable and a bunch of penergan gel to apply to my wrists.  Tylenol #3 for pain

The walking definitely helps! Feels bad while u do it but the benefits out way the pain. I'm feeling a little better now (with phenergan gel n pain). The walking really works!
