I am so thankful to have found this recipe, thank you so much for posting it. I am 3 weeks out from gastric bypass and living on Wendy's chili. I'm having a hard time keeping things down but the pureed chili seems to agree with me and I'm meeting my protein quota with chili and protein drinks. I have forwarded this recipe to a friend of mine who's also living on Wendy's chili. Thank you for saving us a ton of money.

Congratulations on your loss, that is wonderful. I did weigh myself 3 days after getting home from hospital and was down to 205 with a surgery weight of 207. Was so happy to see the scale moving in the right direction.

What a great idea. I recently put mine right next to my bed, which I know is not a good idea.

Thanks for the feedback, I was wondering if that's what it was. I'm really surprised at how much weight IV fluids can add to a person.

I just got home today, June 26th 2020 at 2:30 p.m., after having a gastric bypass completed. My surgery weight was 207 and today I weighed in at 215.98 , how is this possible? I had a number of bowel movements while in the hospital so I'm sure it's not that. Is this normal for everyone to leave the hospital weighing more than when you came in? I feel so discouraged after going through all of this. I'd like to thank you all ahead of time for any feedback you can give me.

I love that idea of setting the alarm for 16 min and drinking the 2 oz cup. That will keep me on track for sure... I really love some of the ideas you all offer on here, so much more ideas than I can ever get at my doctors office.

Thank you, I have just recently discovered the flavored water products and really enjoy them. I am hopeful that since I already drink a lot of water each day that I won't have to much of a problem after surgery. Fingers crossed.

Wow you are not kidding, we have very similar stats. We even have the same goal weight. Congrats on the 15 lb loss, that is wonderful and in only 8 days. How is your pain? Do you use heat or ice to help? Are you able to get in much water? I am so worried about constipation. I am in pain management for chronic cervical pain and suffer from constipation already, so it worries me to think about how bad it can get. I hope your journey is an easy one and that you reach your goals. Thank you for being my cheerleader and I will be yours... Best.

Thanks for the feedback Res. I am hoping I will get back to being able to drink at least 64oz of water. Currently I drink 1 gallon a day and I notice a big difference when I fall short, like dry eyes, chapped lips and so on. I bought a number of water flavoring options and really enjoy most of them so I am hoping dehydration will not be an issue. I did not know that the sleeve patients had difficulty drinking large amts of water, glad I am getting the bypass.

Thank you. I have a feeling I won't regret having this done either. Let me ask you did you have any problems with dehydration in the first month or so? I'm a bit worried that I won't get enough fluids in.

Thanks.. I was so devastated when I received the call that my surgery was cancelled but I am just 8 days away from surgery...

Thanks, I am 8 days away, so excited.

Hi everyone. I just stumbled across this site doing a Google search for syntrax nectar popsicle recipes and found some wonderful suggestions here, thank you. I seen the support and loved shared here in posts and comments and wanted to be part of this community. I am 49 yrs old, 210 lbs down from 217, 5'5", having gastric bypass on 6/24/20, which was rescheduled from 3/25/20 due to Covid pandemic. I am on my 2nd week of 1 meal and 2 protein drinks a day diet. The hunger pains have finally subsided. I am so excited to be on this journey and look forward to getting to know many of you better. Tha
