  1. I’m post op from VSG almost 1 month. I’m very new to this forum but looking for people going through this journey who have advice. What to expect to lose, good healthy recipes and how to handle all this back at work.

How are you doing by now?  From an almost 5 year out sleever, welcome to your new gloriously healthy life!  You're in the hardest part right now, but trust me it gets so much better.

I was only off work a couple of weeks and it was a little tricky managing the timing of everything.  But, it didn't take long to get the hang of it and I am fortunate to have a lot of flexibility in my day and a big private office with my own mini fridge. So, just plan out your days in advance and keep fluids near so you can keep sipping and you should do great.  I do recall being more tired than I expected to be at the end of the day.

You can expect to lose to your goal weight.  I originally set my goal weight too high as I had no idea if I could really do it and didn't want to feel like a failure (again).  But, once I got close, I decided there really wasn't any reason not to be in a healthy BMI range so I kept going until my body decided it was time to stop.

For recipes, checkout https://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/ she has so much good information and great recipes.

Best to you as you begin your new healthy life!
