  1. Well, done deal.  VSL yesterday, 1/16.. so far so good.  Surgeon said it went well.  Nurses were super nice - pre & post op as well as on the floor.  I stayed overnight and was released mid afternoon.  Walking is going well.  So glad to all the forum posts that help with what’s “normal.”  Hard to drink water and shakes, I’ll start in ernest tomorrow and pay attention to what this virgin stomach can tolerate.  Feel a bit like I got kicked in the tummy but that too will pass.  Good to be back in my own bed.

      Thanks.  So,far so good.  Struggling  to get the water and protein needed.  Tried to drop the pain med down to Tylenol, but will probably take the hard stuff at bedtime.
