Hello! I need some opinions or advice. I have a boyfriend of almost 3 years who I love dearly. I met him the one time of my life I was "thin" because of weight loss pills. I had warned him before we got together that I have always been obese and the chances of me becoming obese again would happen -- which it did. I currently weigh 285lbs at a 5'2". I have been thinking about weight loss for about 2 years, lots of research and I finally decided I am going to do this for me. I spoke to my boyfriend about it and he is very against me having the surgery. If I mention it he ignores or just says "ok." well the other morning he blew up at me about it. He said like I'm sure you all have heard before "You can lose weight with just diet and exercise. You're' just giving up!" at this point I'm bawling my eyes out saying whatever I can to make him understand. Everything I said to explain why I need this he would just say "You're giving up." I am scared this will end our relationship. I do not want that. Other than that we have a great relationship, never fight. Why did you say to your unsupportive people?
