  1. Thank you @cinwa and @athenarose. I really needed someone to listen and give me support. I get at home all the time, but I feel like failed because I feel I need to lose more weight. I will continue measuring and watching my diet to hopefully get to my goal weight. I definitely do not want to get back at how I was, so I am always keeping an eye on what else I can do to achieve my goals.
  2. Thank you for all the advice @Jen581791 ! Yes, it's been a long way and I feel I still need a little more. I am measuring everything. I just need to work harder and lose about 20 more pounds. I see my pictures and I like what I see, but when I see myself in the mirror, I dont like what I see I also had my surgery done in Monterrey! Nice talking to you! You look amazing!
  3. Hello! I had gastric bypass and I have lost 160 pounds. I weigh 160 pounds and my family and husband tell me I am very thin but I have a hard time seeing myself the way they do. Has that happened to anyone else? And what did you do to finally accept that you are ok like that and that there is no need to loose more weight? I am working out 3 times per week and I still don't see the scale moving down.:( I need some advice, I don't like my body when I take off my clothes I see myself fat like I was. Please help me...thank u

    Breaking out?!

Hi! The same thing happened to me. My dermatologists told me that it was the protein powder. He told me to leave it and try to get the protein from food instead, but my nutritionist recommended to change to another brand that did not include vitamins...I am still taking it, but I am using the clindamicine solution that the dermatologist prescribed...

12 days Post Op and feeling pretty good!

Hello! I also felt like the first week was hard for me...I cried like 3 times ( thi king: what have I done?) during that week because I didn't want anymore hot soup without lemon...I still managed to stay on liquids for the first seven days...the second week was pureed food. I felt better, but I don't regret doing it. I had thought about it like for 7 years until I started with blood pressure and lasted with it like for a yr and half. I decided to do it because I have 2 little girls 7 and 8...and I want to be there for them longer...nice talking to you lorislosinit!
  6. Hello, my name is jessica and I had gastric bypass in March 4th, 2016. It will be 4 months next week. I was taking my vitamins twice a day and my protein powder included vitamins for gastric bypass patients as well. I had to change my protein powder to one that doesn't have extra vitamins because I started to have little bumps and pimples on my face ( and I hardly had them when I was growing up) dermatologist said it was the protein and amino acids. Well, I am drinking nectar protein now and I have been missing a few doses of my multivitamins. I barely started to notice hair loss and I am panicking! I knew it was going to happen but I am scared that it doesn't grow back. How did you do it? What do you advise? Thank you!!
