  1. No I did not have a hiatal hernia repaired.... i am starting to think its might just be part of the healing process, because today was pretty good.
  2. Hi everyone... I am now 11 days post op and I am down 22 lbs ... I am very happy with my results so far, but am curious if this normal and on track, or should I be losing more or less.... As I have said before my surgery went awesome and I have been feeling great.... but I do have one questions... At times I get a radiant pain in my ribs that starts in my gut and goes up through my ribs and chest.... and also gives a sharp lingering pain right in the middle of my back between my shoulder blades about the size of a baseball... this only happen a few times a day and the pain only last between 10-30 secs.... Has anyone else had this type of pain? Thanks!!
  3. My VSG surgery is right around the corner 3/22/16 and I am feeling nervous and excited. I am sure this is normal to feel this way. One minute i let the fears of surgery make me second guess my choice to do this and then I think about the health consequences of doing nothing. - I know this is the right thing for me to do and I will be healthier and happier in the end. I find it very helpful to go through the postings on here and read the success stories of the rest of you... I know I can do this !!! ... Also all the before and after pictures are helping a lot right now to keep me focused on getting through the surgery and changing my lifestyle for the better me I will post again next week after getting home from the hospital and let everyone know how it went !!...
  4. Thank you for the information... it is very helpful.
  5. I am getting close to having my VSG surgery on 3/22 and am trying to get everything that I am going to need,,, I bought some Isopuore drinks, Premier Protein shakes, and then I found this Protein by Genesis Today. It has 15 grams of protein per ounce. Has anyone else tried this one? http://www.genesistoday.com/product/protein-100/
