  1. I found that the Isopure protein drinks work. I can't drink shakes at all. I've tried quite a few of them. The Isopure I can tolerate. Thanks for advice
  2. Thank you. I actually went out and got some samples of other shakes. I'm going to try a few and see what works out.
  3. I'm 10 days post-op and I need help. My protein shakes EAS and Premier are making me so nauseous. Please any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. This is All I can have no food at all. thanks
  4. Thank you Papa G. I needed to hear that. I know what I did was a no no - it's over for sure! Thank you.
  5. Hi everyone I was sleeved on 10/6. The reason for my concern is that I'm on clear liquids until Sunday (tomorrow) then I will be able to have shakes. I had a very tiny piece of bread with a tiny cube of ham. It was literally less than an inch, but I could eat it without restriction. And I feel hungry??? How is that possible? I'm afraid the sleeve is not going to work for me. Please, I need reassurance that this is going to work. Thanks!

  9. Yes I got pain meds. From other people I talked to they said there pain wasn't that bad. I guess everyone is different.
  10. I didn't think I would be in this much pain. Anyone else deal with this post-op?
  11. Oh boy that was fast!!! I'm going on Tuesday October 6th!!! I have to be honest I'm freaking out too!! I've talked to a lot of people and they are so happy they did it.
  12. Two years ago I asphyxiated into my lungs from the band slipping (I was vomiting a lot). I was in the hospital for two weeks lung surgery 3 chest tubes and three transfusions. Also 3 months of antibiotics. I was VERY close to death. So, the band didn't work for me. I'm looking forward to the sleeve.

  14. My surgery is October 6th I'm getting really nervous, but excited. You sound all good with the packing. I was told to get the Gas X strips.
