  2. It has been 7 months, 2 weeks and 6 days and I have made it to the Century Club!! I am so thrilled about achieving this goal.

  3. Congrats and Welcome to the Losers Bench
  4. Thank you for sharing this with me.
  5. I want to send a big Thank You out to everyone for all your kind words, prayers, thoughts and good energy. I will take all I can get. I am still waiting to hear from the ear, nose, throat doctor to get an appt for a biopsy. My PCP called this morning and said that all of my blood work looks perfect, so that is great news at least. :0) Thanks again everyone. I had cervical cancer that got into my lymph system, so I did have to do radiation and chemo. An experience that I do not care to repeat. Junie, Thank you for sharing your story, and understanding what I am trying to express. And yes, you are right we will both beat this.
  6. So on Friday my hubby and I headed up our mountain for a day of snowmobiling. About 10 minutes in he waved at me to stop. I let up on my throttle my skis kicked sideway and I get bucked off into some hard-packed snow and hit my head. (I was wearing a helmet) My head hurt so bad I couldn`t play anymore so we packed up and headed home. Saturday morning my head was still really hurting so hubby took me to the ER and they did a CT scan to look for bleeding - there was none just a concussion. However they did find a 2cm by 2cm growth on my thyroid. I went to see my PCP today and she did an ultrasound. She found a 2.5 cm and a 2.1 cm and a bunch of smaller growths on my thyroid. So now I have to wait to get into an ENT for a biopsy. I have had cancer before. I am mad and scared. I have been working so hard to get healthy and now this. I just feel like screaming.
  7. I don't know if you can eat them yet or not but shrimp with cocktail and/or lemon make a wonderful lunch.
  8. I have my shirt tucked into my pants and don't look like an Umpa Loompa. Yay I haven't been able to tuck my shirt since I was in my 20s. Also, I am finally small enough to order my first lady's wrangler jeans. I can't wait to try them on.
  9. I am getting so close to the Century Club. I can see it from here. *Waving*
