    Oooh, you just gave me a great idea! I used to make a cold Asian pasta salad pre-op. I'm going to experiment with spaghetti squash and make it!

  6. After my two-week pre-op liquid diet, everything was extremely sweet, so maybe try monk fruit after that -- when your taste buds have been desensitized from sugar.

    Here's how I prepare spaghetti squash. Cut squash in half, clean out seeds and fibers, then carefully pierce outer shell in several places. Place squash, cut-side down, in an 8x8 inch baking dish filled half way to the top with water. Microwave on high setting for about 35 minutes. Remove from oven, and drain. Allow to cool for about 5 minutes. Using a fork, scrape flesh inside of squash into a serving dish. Season with salt and pepper.
