I have fallen so far off track and it getting worse. I am binging on sugar constantly, have gained back 50 of the 80lbs lost and feel so ashamed. I'm having serious gastro-intestinal issues but not even that is preventing me from eating sugar and major amounts of carbs. Along with everyone else I'm struggling with world today, and I am using food to cope but I need WANT it to stop.

You have the right to keep your personal information private. I too am an honest person and have shared too much in the past because I felt obligated to answer a direct question when it was truly no one's business. Thankfully, I learned how to answer these types of questions with "I'd rather not talk about this" or "I'm not comfortable talking about this" before I had surgery. I generally do not keep my surgery private because I want to be an example, however I limit what I share when I am feeling bullied or pushed. Stay true to yourself but stand up for yourself and your privacy. Good lu

I have been going through an eating binge. Lots of sweets and no control. I'm an emotional/stress eater. I will pick up the exercise and drink more water.
-
Thank you Jolls. Probably a little of both. I really need pick up the exercise and reduce my carb intake.
-
I have reached a plateau that doesn't want to go away. I'm 12 pounds away from my goal weight and can't seem to go any lower. Any suggestions?

Everybody does it right?
anniehaley replied to lachuff1979's topic in Post-Op Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy
I had the same problem the first week. Miralax worked and so does the smooth move tea. -
I'm just beginning the hair loss phase. Almost 20 years ago i went through chemo so I know what to expect but I didn't realize I would get emotional about it. I know it will grow back but damn!

Will I ever feel the same again?
anniehaley replied to Eva42's topic in Post-Op Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy
I had the same thoughts and feelings in the beginning, but have NO regrets now. I am 3 month post-op and have lost 50 lbs. Once I was through the diet limitations and started to find what worked for me, I have felt great. As mentioned above, my energy has returned and no pain (other than occasionally eating too fast). Hang in there. -

Mine is 200 and I'm there now. I hit 199 for about 5 minutes a couple of years ago but popped back over 200 right away. I can't wait to see the 190s.
