  1. I work for a general surgeon and he told me just to keep rubbing the scars. You don't even have to use lotion or creams just rubbing the scar will make it look better.
  2. Thanks for all of the advice. I talked with my doctor and he seems to think I may be vitamin defficient. I do measure my food and still can only take in 2 ounces. The vitamins I was taking I stopped my fault I know. I am now back on them but take them at night so that I do not get sick. This seems to be working. I am chewing my food longer and this seems to be working. So hopefully I will stay in this pattern of not feeling so bad after I eat. Thanks again I love this forum. You guys are the BOMB!
  3. For the past week I feel as though I am getting sick after I eat. It does not matter what I eat or when I eat after two bites I just can't tolerate the meal anymore. I never vomit but I have the pains in my stomach and feel as though I could vomit at any moment. I am 11 weeks out and was doing fine up until last week. Any Suggestions would be appreciated.
  4. I can not believe it has been two months already. I had surgery on 7/31/2013 and I won't say that it has all been glorious days but it is getting better everyday. I definately feel better 62lbs lighter. I lost 15 lbs preop and have lost 47 lbs Post op.
  5. Surgery went well. I am feeling so much better. I can actually eat again.
  6. I am 6 weeks post op and have been feeling very nauseated for the past two weeks and I woke up Tuesday morning in extreme pain with every breath I took. My Doc sent me for a stat ultrasound and sure enough I have gallstones. I can't eat because every time I eat I get even more nauseated. I have basically gone back to the liquid phase of my journey. Surgery is scheduled for next Friday. I am super miserable. Can not believe this happening to me.
  7. Malady I am expreriencing the same pain. I have had lower back pain for a very long time but never inbetween my shoulder blades. I am going for my four week post op on Wednesday and was going to ask my surgeon why I am experiencing this pain. Mine started about two weeks post op and everyday regardless of what I do it starts hurting and sometimes the pain gets really bad. I will keep you posted as to what my surgeon says this could possibly be.
  8. Slueth it gets better. It took me a week and I finally had no pain. I am now two weeks out.
  9. I had my surgery on 07/31/2013 and I feel the same way. Energyless......I am not having any problems I went for post op on Wednesday and Doc tells me I just need to drink more.....Really I can not drink any more. I just don't want it....However I know he is telling me the truth, I won't feel better until I do. He told me to get at least 48 oz of fluid in a day he is not even worried about the protein right now just hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Just wanted you to know that I am going through the exact same thing. I am supposed to go to work on Monday and just hoping that I am going to be able to make it!
  10. Thank you all for the well wishes. I look at how much weight you guys have lost and it is awesome. I hope and pray that I will have a successful journey just as you have. On a good note I have lost 10 pounds on the so called liver shrinking diet and feeling good about that!
  11. My Surgery is scheduled for next Wednesday 8/31/2013. I am starting to get very anxious and nervous about the procedure. I am having the vertical sleeve done and all I keep thinking about is all the what if's....including what if I do not lose any weight what if I am doing this for nothing.
