  1. Happy New Years!!!! I'm still around but barely. I do come on here every few weeks to check everything out. Its crazy how time does pass us by! Its 14 months and I'm really happy with my results. I do hope to lose a few more lbs but I might not be able to since I've lost so much. I've been still losing weight but its been like 3 weeks since I lost anything. So this might be it. 133 is not bad at all! I was hoping to go down to 125-128. I've been running like twice a week but I would love to do 3-4 times a week. I also want to start working out 3 times a week without missing one day. I tend to go for a few weeks and then stop for 2-3 weeks and then go back to it. I need a better schedule. Jenny, SO glad to see that you are still around. Majorloser, hows it going for you?
  2. Thanks GAviv!!! Hahaha, I've come a long way! Next week I'll post my pics so everyone can see the changes. I've been blessed beyond my dreams!
  3. I'm doing my compare pictures next week!! Its a year next week!!! You look great!!!
  4. I'm "Normal"!!!! My BMI is finally under normal!!!!

  5. Hey Majorloser! I'm still around! Still losing weight! I can't believe that I'm still losing!!! I'm down to 140 and I look amazing with clothes on. lol. But I wouldn't say the same when I'm naked. Ugh. I do have saggy skin but that's all the fat that I've lost. 102 lbs! I can't wait to pay off this surgery to be able to go for plastics. My anniversary is in 8 days! I still remember the few days before surgery and recovery. So glad I did all this!
  6. Hi Aya! I love your transformation! Btw, you don't need to lose 12 lbs, you look really skinny! Not in a bad way but you don't look your weight. Plus you are in a normal BMI already. I'm just telling you because you look great and super awesome now. Enjoy it! Forget about anyone else; you need to make yourself happy and that's it. Remember, we see ourselves and still see a thicker person. I hope you treat your depression; I have bouts of them as well but I keep monitoring it because I haven't taken anything since before surgery. I hope I can keep it that way. We will see! I wish you luck and health!
  7. Sixela, I keep losing weight. I went to see the Gastric doc and he told me that I might lose another 5-10 lbs!! I can't believe it. I know I AM SKINNY but I don't see it when I look in the mirror. But I do know because of the size that I'm wearing, my 10s are starting to be big and the 6's are just a bit tight but if I lose anymore I will end up in a 6. I HAVE NEVER been a 6!! Not even in high school. I bought clothes these past few weeks, thinking that I wasn't going to lose anymore and I was going to stay in a size 8. Now I'm wondering if I made the right choice. LOL. I spent a lot of money on clothes.
  8. October 29th 2013 - 9 months and counting. I'm super happy to hear from this group. Glad to hear everyone has done so great! I'm down 90 lbs and I'm losing like a lb per a few weeks. I'm okay with that. I'm really happy with my size and how I look. I'm using a size 8-10 in pants and Medium tops. I really can't complain. I've gone out a few times to buy clothes and the sales ladies are really small and tell me that I'm smaller than them. I can't believe it!!!!!! I'm having a problem telling how small I am. I still consider myself heavy, not as heavy as before but still chunky. I think it's going to take a while before I can wrap my brain around my real size. I can eat a lot more now and now is when I have to start worrying about eating the right things. Most of the time I eat extremely healthy but I have to be very careful. I really enjoy chips and sweets and I still eat some of it. Not enough to gain of it but thats where it might start. It makes me scared and nervous. I've been watching carefully to make sure I don't slip. Not easy.
  9. Lisa, you look amazing! I'm so proud of your accomplishment! Love it!
  10. Florida girl you've done amazing!!!! Congrats!!! Love to see all these awesome pictures!
  11. Hi everyone! It's almost 7 months and I'm loving it! The ride has been really smooth, I've lost 80 lbs and I'm weighing 162 lbs. I would like to lose an additional 20-30 lbs but even if I only lose 10 more I would be extremely happy. I can't believe the changes to my face and my body. I'm not going to lie, I'm sagging a little bit but it's doable and manageable. I will be getting plastics but that will be in 2-3 years from now. I can't afford to do any of that right now. I still drink all my vitamins and calcium as directed by the doctor. I go to the support groups and they are amazing and full of information from the nutritionist and the nurse practitioner. I still go see the nutritionist and he is always full of information. I'm still exercising 1-3 days a week. Depends on what's going on in my life. I try to do at least 2 days a week.
  12. I'm no longer OBESE!!! I can't believe it! Can't wait to reach a Normal BMI. 24 more lbs.
