  1. Hello all of you beautiful people!! Hope you're all doing well!! Last week I celebrated my 3 year surgiversary!! It's hard to believe it's been that long. I remember the day I joined this site and reading success stories from people 3 years out and thinking "that's so far away." And now i'm here. It's a crazy feeling. I lost 115 in 8 months and have kept it off since. I am so much happier now!! I also was healthy enough to donate a kidney to my friend a few months a go, which was a great experience. I've learned that life is short and tomorrow is not promised so do whatever it is you want to do. I am so thankful for this surgery. I also have recently started thinking about skin removal surgery and would love to hear your stories. Much love, Katie
  2. Wow, thank you all!! It is/was an amazing experience!
  3. I am almost 3 years post-op, wow time flies!! I'm so thankful this tool helped me get healthy! 3 weeks ago I had the chance to save a good friends life by giving him one of my kidneys! We were a close enough match the Doctors said it was like we were siblings, how crazy! I truly believe everything happens for a reason, and if I hadn't gotten this surgery I wouldn't have been healthy enough to save my friends life.
  4. Haven't posted in quite awhile. It's been 2 and a half years since surgery, feels like just yesterday! I lost 110 pounds in 8 months and have kept if off. It is still hard for me to see the difference sometimes, but that's just how our minds work.
  5. Thank you ladies so much! Means the world to me! :D
  6. Thank you all!! Your support is what keeps me motivated!
  7. Today marks 2 years since surgery!! So glad I made that decision, definitely the hardest thing i've ever done, but by far the best thing!!! <3
  8. I love that you pointed that out!! It's so sad looking through old pictures of me, I realized how much I hated my body. Most pictures are headshots because I didn't want my full body in the picture, or i'm making a funny face because I didn't feel confident enough. Crazy to think about how horrible I thought of myself. Everyone is beautiful and should feel beautiful.
  9. I work for Flex Your Face, add me on facebook, i'll tell you more about them!
  10. Wow thank you all so much!! I love the support from you guys, always keeps a smile on my face! It's been a crazy transformation, looking forward to more awesome moments!!
  11. I was going through pictures from before I lost weight and found this one from a trip to Chicago in 2012.. My brother saw the pic and recognized my friend but had no idea who the other girl in the picture was. Awhile later he goes "HOLY CRAP THAT'S YOU!!" Hahaha crazy! Here is a recent pic
  12. Thank you!! My parents both got the surgery done too and it's been a great journey!
