  1. That is so fabulous. You are a true inspiration to others. I too am celebrating my 3year anniversary. It's not easy to maintain, but as you have proven it can be done!
  2. I have been drinking the whey protein tube, grape flavor for about a year. Yes, I agree that it is very sweet! I can't drink it alone that's for sure. But I just couldn't drink another protein shake. So what I do is mix the tube of protein with water, propel zero powder packet and a little light grape juice. This is all in a 16 oz. glass. It takes me a long time to drink it, but it's better that way anyway. Just a thought.
  3. Where did you get the Sweater Dress?? I love it. I am finally letting myself get one.
  4. You look wonderful!!! Great job!
  5. Thank you so much everyone!!!!
  6. Thank you Dori. Good luck with your upcoming surgery.
  7. Started out in a size 18 fifteen months ago, I am now wearing a size 6 jeans!! I honestly can't believe it. I never in a million years ever thought I could wear a size 6. I don't remember ever being that size!!!! It feels great, so amazing! Forgot to add before picture- so I just edited it...
  8. You look wonderful! Congrats on such a great job.
  9. Mine was July 17,2012. I am coming up on my 1 year Surgiversary!!! I have lost 110 pounds and am at my goal weight. I still am soft but I don't mind that at all. I am 46 years old not 26 so it's ok!! I have had a lot of up's and down's in this past year. But I am mostly very happy. It was the best decision for me, although I still wish I had not gotten to a point where I had to get the surgery. But you can't dwell on the past. I hope everyone out there who has had this surgery is doing well and happy. And for those waiting to get the surgery, good luck and be well! Keep coming back to this forum, it really helps!
  10. I was wondering how often do people gain weight after having gastric bypass? I keep thinking how could I possibly gain weight, I can barely eat and I am 1 year out from surgery. When does this happen to people, why does this happen? I am worried that it will happen to me some day.
  11. My Anniversary is coming up in a few days. It will be 1 year since I had gastric bypass. I am 110 pounds lighter and a whole lot happier! Still have tummy issues going on, but hopefully that will get taken care of soon. I am just not sure what to do on the 17th to celebrate my special day. Any ideas or suggestions? I would love to hear what other people have done to celebrate such a special day.
  12. Just started having gallbladder attacks a week ago. Very bad and intense. Got an ultrasound and I have several gallstones. I was fine before the gastric bypass. I guess it is common to get this after dropping so much weight so fast. I now have to get my gallbladder out next Monday. Bummer. I hear it is not too big of a deal. Anyone out there who has had a similar experience? I am a little nervous.
  13. So happy now! I feel so much better than I did last year. Amazing what weight loss can do for you.
