  1. Thank you everyone for your wonderful words of encouragement! Today I hit my one year mark and I am still thankful for this tool that I have. I am also thankful for the support found on this forum.
  2. You are doing a wonderful job! 200 pounds is amazing!
  3. Thank you both! What's crazy is that I don't see myself any different. Hopefully one day!
  4. I would like to lose more but it's nice to see a difference.
  5. I am currently reading "The emotional first aid kit" a practical guide to life after bariatric surgery. It's very helpful in regards to emotions and relationships with food.
  6. What a transformation! Did you have plastics? I don't see loose skin.
  7. Thank you all! I have tears in my eyes just reading your thoughts. Thank you for taking the time to answer me. I am starting my exercise routine again today. I am going to track my food on loseit.com. I have come a long way and my food choices make me feel physically sick. Thank you all again!
  8. Hi everyone! I lost my sister 2 weeks ago. It was sudden and unexpected. We were really close and I miss her very much. I find myself eating mindlessly. Not a lot because I can't but totally bad food choices. I have this I don't care attitude. I have a referral in to the psych dept but in the meantime how do you deal with loss And stress in conjunction with weightloss surgery?
  9. It makes you look younger and your shoes are pretty diva!
  10. I was told by my nut that the body can only absorb 2500 per day. I take celebrate multi which has some and then I take an additional 2000 everyday.
  11. This is me at 294lbs before surgery. This is me today at 239lbs.
  12. Lost 5 pounds last week....so thankful!

  13. Cut off 4 inches of hair...sigh it was for the best.

Chin up, I hear you. I lost 3/4 of my hair (mine was pretty extreme due to another illness) and I have always had long hair from the age of 6 so I chopped it to my chin...devastating but now I am learning to like it.
