  1. I like Zone Perfect and buy them at Target.
  2. Hi everyone. I'm 10 months post-RNY and have lost 90+ pounds. Lately I have noticed that I'm consuming the majority of my calories via drinks....diluted orange juice, diluted apple juice, etc. I also have one glass of red wine most evenings. That's maybe 600+ calories a day via fluids. *** I am fully aware that this is not good, correct, advised, etc. I'm posting to see if anyone else does this. Maybe if you're too nervous to eat solids, or not just hungry sometimes? I find I get sick easily and therefore just tend to not eat alot. When I'm sick its virtually impossible to take care of my 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 year old boys.... I go to my surgeon and get bloodwork every 3 months, and all my levels are fine (except I have low iron) because I am taking all my vitamins. I go back on the 23rd and will discuss with him. Anyone have any insight into this topic besides the obvious...which is that this is not a good idea?
  3. Hi Dr. Callery. I am 8 months post-op RNY and down 90 pounds. I love exercising and do it 4x/week. I have loose skin, particularly in my stomach area and hips/thighs. Will it ever improve or does it stay this way? I'm asking because I've heard it improves a little after 1-2 years post-op, but that doesn't seem to make sense. Thoughts? Thanks.
  4. I have 10 or so pounds to lose....but the scale keeps bouncing back and forth between 10 and 13 to go......it's frustrating. I need to cut back on the snacking and also get back into my protein shakes (which I don't mind at all). I have also been having alot of diluted apple juice, instead of plain water, which isn't the best idea either. At least I know what I need to do to get this done! So count me in!

  7. I was in pain and uncomfortable for the first 10 days. By 5 weeks post-op I felt back to normal for the most part! Good luck! It's a wonderful journey!

Congrats! I bet your are rocking them too!

  9. Hi everyone. I am again having this intense pain again. Are we more likely to have gall bladder issues post-op? I'm actually going to head to the ER now......which is not something I would normally do. But the pain is bad.
  10. Hi everyone. I have had a stomach ache for 3 days now. It doesn't matter what I eat or if I'm eating at all. No burning or sharp pains, just constant tenderness and soreness. It's even tender to the touch and when I move in bed. Does anyone know what could be wrong? I happen to have an appt with my surgeon on Wednesday, so I'll get it checked then...but in the meantime...any insight?
  11. 2 week stall over....finally!!!!!
