  1. Hope you had a fabulous birthday!

  2. Happy Birthday..mine was yesterday and I have to agree it was the best one in a long time....even without the cake :)

  3. Today is my 43rd birthday and I can't believe how much this year has changed me. I am so grateful for this surgery.

  4. Aww. Thank you Cinwa!!!

  5. Wishing you a very Happy Birthday!

  6. Mad...I had my first stall at about 3 1/2 weeks and it drove me crazy...learn to get patient, as it will happen a lot. I am 3 1/2 months out and I was recently stalled for almost 3 weeks and then all of a sudden 4 pounds dropped off in a day. It will drive you crazy if you let it. Your going to do good just keep the goal in mind and work the program....
  7. OMG!!! I just realized that my BMI now shows I'm only overweight and I am no longer obese.

  8. Finally broke this month long stall. Dropped 4 pounds....woo hoo!!! 170's here I come.

  9. hey! I'm still going - slowly but surely.. up one down 2.. up 1 down 2. Right now I've lost about 48 lbs from the day of surgery, 58 from my highest. Not bad, but still not as fast as I want. Though I've been really slack lately :(

  10. How are you doing? I had the VSG the day before you did and I am stalled. How much weight have you lost since surgery? Have you had any problems?

  11. I have been totally stuck in the mid 180's for like 3 weeks. I have upped my protein and water and nothing. I'm starting to really get frustrated.

I know how you feel! if you have been doing everything right without any cheating i might have some bad advice for you.. make one day a bit higher calorie intake.. or a couple of days.. to get your body out of the routine of saving energy.. then get back on your diet hardcore and exercise :) its all so hard! this is a battle

that is not bad advice at all...sometimes I skip my protein shakes for a few days even

  12. My husband has decided to buy a $400 juicer because he now to wants to get healthier along with me. Can I juice? If I make sure that I get my protein in, can't I juice a few times a day? I could do a juice in the morning and then add a scoop of protein powder in it. What are your thoughts on this sleevers?
  13. The Sheriff presented me with my new badge today and gave me the welcome to the team speech and the don't abuse your power speech too. Lol I didn't even mind the pictures. I was so proud of myself but I think it was more because I didn't mind the pictures. This surgery changes your life. No one at my new job knows I had it done.

  14. What did your doctor say about your weight loss at your 3 month check up? I'm losing slowly also and would be interested in what he said. I don't have another checkup with my doc until November and I am worried that I'm not losing fast enough. Any information or advice he gave you would be greatly appreciated if shared....

  15. How are you doing? I had my surgery the day before you. I feel like I am losing really slowly. How much have you lost since the surgery? I am really struggling. It's hard to know what my stomach will allow me to eat some days. Are you having any problems with food at all?
