Chocking Sensation

I must know if I am the only one having this problem. Ever since my surgery whenever I eat in front of others I begin to feel as if the food will not leave my esophagus almost like it is going to chock me. This is not once or twice, this is every time I eat in front of someone else. , It bothers me so much that sometimes I will regurgitate everything I eat then go back to eat.

It is more of a sensation of my food not going completely. Its so much pressure that I feel I cannot breath. Lately I have had vomiting episodes just so that I can breath.  If I eat alone it sometimes not a problem, but because I am Madame Social Butterfly that happens rarely.

Am I strange or does this happen to you too?

I know I've had a different surgery than you but I did have a minor sensation of my food not going down. Not of choking but just extreme pressure in my chest. Swallowing made it worse because I was just trapping air.

Hope things get smoother for you...

That is exactly the sensation. I explained it wrong. What did you do to fix it?
