Hejsan Xispes!
Hej,
Vim

Hello Xispes!
Welcome to the group! Tell us a little about yourself. Are you pre or post operative? Looking forward to getting to know you.

Vim's a long lost Swede, I'm an American living in Denmark for 16 years. You sorta get to know the language at a point.

Having said that, I don't understand a lot of Swedish, but have no problems reading it. Norwegian is easier to understand (and I read it as well), since it's closer to Danish. Both Norwegian & Swedish are "sing-song" lilting (quite melodic & pretty, I must say) spoken languages. Danish sounds like you're eating a potato trying to talk.

You can take those Berlitz language courses for Danish, Swedish & Norwegian. that's how the Mormon missionaries learn the languages in a short time.

OK Princesse,... Northern Europe!
I do miss the Nyhavn's restaurants in Copenhagen,... but now if I dare to pass by I think I would go into "permadumping"

Squishy: I'm just a "rookie"! 10 day post op that is! The guys (and girls) at Danderyd's have done an excellent job, I just feel normal, however the craving is killing me, plus my daily intramuscular shots to prevent DVT are not very pleasant (only 2 days to go though).
I'm amazed with the wealth of info around here, although gym, food and mental sanity tips and hints will be my main sought after themes.

Vim&Vigour: Tack för din vink. Jag ska tita pa "Viktop"!!

offstringgirl: I can do a bit of spanish!!
