About Me
Hello everyone. Cupcake lover........the cupcake is my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. I refer to her as cupcake because she is so sweet. My name is Lynn, 47 yr old women living in souther California amongst all the perfect bodies, and frowners of fat people. Yes, Lynn is fat. But I am working on that. Mostly, I am unhealthy, and that is what troubles me the most. My little cupcake needs me to be around for her, and I won't be if I remain as I am. So, I have taken steps to change this. I am currently 3 months in to the 6month required weigth loss under supervision as required by my health insurance, Aetna HMO. Its hard. I couldnt lose the weight before, not doing so good now. But I am trying.
I joined Thinner Times because I have not told my family yet of my plan to get gastric bypass surgery. I am 3 young adult children, 19, 21 and 27. I am the only person they have other than each other, and they will freak out at the thought of me having this surgery. So, I am here for support, motivation and courage. I have spoken to a friend, and she is so very supportive, but still I feel alone.
I have read wonderful stories of brave people on here. I hope to be one of them. I hope to become their friend, and perhaps be one of the brave myself!
