About Me

My name is DJ Akers and I'm 26. I've been married to my husband, Justin, since May 5th, 2005 and we have two beautiful daughters, Christina (7) and Izabella (almost 4). I finished Massage Therapy school in June 2011 & my license went active in August 2011.
My blog is created to keep my family and friends as informed as they want to be about my journey through weight loss surgery. I'm going to be brutally honest & use this to vent so I stay relatively sane. Thanks for caring enough to read this.
