Highest 440 lbs / Current 310 lbs / Target 249 lbs / Goal 220 lbs / Lost 130 lbs

Highest 200 Kg / Current 141 Kg / Target 113 Kg / Goal 100 Kg / Lost 59 Kg

A person who has come to the point in life when a change is required.
Married with children that have now almost grown up and left the nest, it's a time for me.
No change is not an option.

The thought of having surgery has not come likely and has been a constant development over many months.
Following a number of visits to the local doctor, my appointment to visit the hospital finally came through in June 2011.
Initial weight was 200Kg BMI of 59, reducing to 190 Kg at the time of the 1st hospital appointment. BMI wat 56.

My second appointment to hospital was to see the Dietician at the end of September 2011 with PCT approval for funding end of November 2011.

The last visit to the hospital post operation was end September 2012 to see the Dietician again and head Nurse for start of Pre-op diet.

Surgery was carried out 14th October 2012 .

So for now I am searching the web, gathering the information to support my new life and jorney.

My current weight at the time of updating & writing this is 141 Kg, BMI 42
