About Me
I am a mother, a veteran, an electrician, and a wife.
I'm in my forties, and have watched my weight my whole life, and now it's beating me.
I'm happy my insurance was approved, and apparently my surgeon is one of the best.
I'm looking forward to dropping some weight.
Fast Forward
11 months post op. I updated my start weight to my heaviest weight. I gained weight pre-op, as I mentally convinced myself I was saying goodbye to food. Now it's quality, not quantity. I feel fantastic. Wishing I would have worked out sooner. Just now starting physical therapy, as I am a weakling. All skin and bones. No muscle. But you know what? I didn't fail.
