Default u had me in stitches

hi Kelly

Thanks for help with the stitch question, I was wondering if Gwen had been held together with sellotape. If you read this Gwen I wasn't being sarcastic, just a poor joke.

Bye Kelly. Bob X

Don't worry after 10 years in the UK I now get the British humour (and notice how I don't refer to "being in England" for 10 years or "getting the English" humour as I now also understand the difference between being English. Welsh, Scottish and Irish my Welsh Grandmother (born from English parents) would have been very proud )

I met Michelle Bowater, coincidentally, when I went back to Bruges in August '08 to celebrate my Surgiversary - she did NOT have Dr Dillemans as her surgeon but I do understand that Dr D is hoping that she will become his main (and hopefully in time only) service provider.

I have NO relationship with any of the current (or past) service providers for Dr Dillemans and my role is merely that of "community co-ordinator" for the BruggeBabes.

My memory might be very bad, but I remember very clearly how lost I felt back then, going to another country for my surgery and not being able to find many people "who's been there" before me....

Hi Vim.

I have been meaning to ask you something... The protein bars you get that taste like MILKYWAY (Yummy) What are they called and where do you get them? I tried the Protein Vials but they are horrid and I spent most of the time wretching trying to force them down lol!

10 months down already! Has it gone quickly? I feel really lucky as (touch wood) everything going very well. My pouch is well behaved apart from I think I dumped on some cous cous in orange dressing. But not 100% sure but I didn't feel to clever so presume it was dumping???

Wounds are heeling really well and I have lost 6.8kg I got into a pair of PJ bottom last night that even the day after surgery were skin tight and now they fit ok!! That has given me a boost. I must admit I tire very quickly but I guess my calorie intake is small for such a large frame... (good thinking by dad) I walked to my mother in laws yesterday, which is just over the feild and down the road and I was knackered! Having said that previous to surgery I would have gone in the car so that progress. Small Change as Mike would say lol!

I live in Whitstable and Puglino lives in Deal. You are a London Gal is that right?

Kelly xx
