Finally, I have racked my brains trying to think of somewhere suitable to hold a get together and have now made a decision, hopefully the right one

First meeting -

The Holiday Inn, Chalvey, Slough (M4 junc 6) Saturday 22nd March 2008, 2.30pm ish or when you get there.

We will meet in the bar. There are the usual drinks, plus tea, coffee, hot choc, bar snacks available. It is ground floor for those not able to manage stairs.

I checked my calendar and realised that it is the Bank Holiday weekend and we're going away to Bournemouth that weekend - are you able to reschedule? When is the Surrey meet so that we don't overlap?

I would love to be there!

I have just realised that this is Easter weekend so have rescheduled for Saturday 15th March, the week after Surrey. In future I will try to make it two weeks apart.

Not too sure that the group will work though as others in the area are expressing concern that weekends are precious time to spend with their families and prefer weekday evenings every couple of months - I know this doesn't work for you nor for me but will stick to Saturdays for time being.

Hi All

Just a reminder that the first meeting is tomorrow, Saturday 15th March, 2.30pm onwards at the Holiday Inn, Slough/Windsor. M4 junc 6, head for Slough, at roundabout turn right towards Chalvey and Holiday Inn is on right hand side. Parking is through a barrier. You need to take a ticket and when leaving you need to go to reception for an exit ticket.

Really glad to say that out first meeting went so well. More people than we expected and more to come apparently.:eek:

Next date agreed on is Saturday 19th April 2008, 2-30pm onwards in the bar of the Holiday Inn Slough/Windsor, (M4 junc 6). All welcome

It's a shame it wasn't next week, I could have killed 2 birds with one stone, as I'm watching a sand table in maidenhead on ebay for Lola that ends tomorrow! Could have picked it up and got to see u all too!

Next meeting for Berkshire group will be Saturday 17th May, 2-30pm onwards.

We meet in the Bar at the Holiday Inn, Slough. Just off M4 junc 6.
