Red face Not very helpful, I'm afraid...

Hi V&V

I'm afraid I can't be of much help on this one - I have been very fortunate in that I could, and can still, eat anything and everything - of course in much smaller portions and much slower than before, but with no limitation as to what I wish to eat.

I wish I had kept a better food diary, to help all of Dr D's newbies through the first couple of weeks, but all I can say is, be prepared for a very different attitude from Dr D to the US surgeons - you're onto soft foods almost immediately and there is no liquid stage (either clear or otherwise).

I am extremely fortunate and did most of my shopping from an M&S Foodhall, there is one just around the corner from where we live, and I could find something in there everyday for the first couple of weeks to keep me going without having to invest in a food processor or blender. I do, however, have a smoothy maker from Murphy Richards!

Hope this helps?!
