Default welcome

origionally from Chester New Jersey, relocated to Fort Worth Texas, Now located here in Tucson. My surgery date was oct 23, 2007 and I've already lost 25.8 lbs. It's so strange to loose this much weight so fast and not be hungery. I've had some adverse reactions to food, Ham was bad enough but yesterday I ate some cheese sticks rolled in egg beeters with fiber one and what a disaster- I'm still recovering today. Lessons learned! Now I drink my mint tea and hope for a better day. Today I won't be trying anything new. My pouch is still testing me today.

Default flustered

I had my lap band surgery on October 31 and the only times I really lost much weight was when I was on the liquid portion of the diets.

Even after the first fill, I still have difficulty getting a full signal. I can eat much more than the 4 oz maximum they told me should be my limit.

They only time a warning bell goes off is when I eat some dry foods and it sticks in my throat.

Am I missing something?

I lost 65 pound pre surgery and 34 post surgery. I have lost nothing the past 2 weeks, in fact I have put on 3 pounds, any suggestions?

Mike, I'm wandering if you've lost more weight since you last posted.
I had the rny surgery and am still loosing lots of weight. I don't have any advice for you than to call your doctor.
