Creating a Weight Loss Ticker - Easy Users Guide

Recommended Posts

I'd recommend using Ticker Factory: http://www.tickerfactory.com/ezticker/ticker_designer.php?type=3

Once you've entered your stats etc. and it's brought up your ticker, look for the "bbCode" code - that's what you add to your signature, not the HTML.

You can find your signature by clicking on the downward arrow next to your profile ID (top right of this page) and selecting "My Settings". Then select "Signature" from the panel on the left

Copy and paste the "bbCode" shown on your completed ticker at tickerfactory and hit "save".

Don't forget to bookmark tickerfactory so that you can update your progress there - it will automatically update your ticker on this forum.

ok im new to this and will take all the help i can get

It works!  YEAH!

Babe, you need to copy the same code and put it in signature.

You can do that by going to your home page,  "Edit my Profile" then "Signature" on the left.

It's not showing up in your signature Pat.

I've just been to tickerfactory.com and entered a ficticious height/weight ticker - the bbCode like this and that it what you need to copy and paste to your signature (and it's something you need to update at ticker at tickerfactory.com).

This doesn't seem to be working for me? I'm using my droid so I can't copy and paste but I did type in the code? Any help would be appreciated!

It works Sue - just remember to update TickerFactory with your weight loss and that'll automatically change in your signature.

Thank you! I think it worked!

It definitely worked - that's one of my favourite tickers but it sucks that TickerFactory hasn't got a cute ticker slider that would go with your tropical ticker and avatar.

I could only find a pink cartoon Moby Dick looking thing (page 4) or an anorexic grey shark (page 6)!
