Hi guys. I've been wondering. Do you think your shoe sizes have changed? Or have they for a fact, etc? I'm just curious. :) My feet really are not big or pudgy at all but I bet I will get smaller feet because of my weight loss. I remember reading when I was pregnant that the bones spread to hold your extra weight haha.
Okay, any input would be just...fun and interesting! Thanks!

Some do, some don't. I was a 10 in my younger days, went to an 11 W at my highest weight. Now back in 10M.

Yep! I went I went from a 7 - 8 extra wide down to a 4.5 - 5 regular.

Ring sizes change too. I went down 4 sizes which was a pain because my wedding ring is a square so it needed a bit taken out of every side.

My shoe size didn't change at all, although the shoes I wore preoperatively now seem loose on my feet because of being stretched out. So, I have been enjoying myself lately shopping for new shoes! It's become my newest addiction. It first started out with jeans, then athletic wear, and now shoes and handbags. I'm still trying to figure out how to expand or make more room in my closet without my husband noticing too much. LOL!

Change only happens when the pain of holding on is greater than the fear of letting go.

My shoes size did not change at all, had small time then and do now, wear a 6. My ring size has changed, I went from a 7 1/2 down to a 6 1/2, that is what I wore when I got married at 20.

YES! I have to budget in all new shoes! I don't know what size I wear now but none of my 8 1/2 shoes fit and I even had to get a 6 1/2 in a pair of flats.

Here's a recent thread with some cute stories about "foot fat"

yeah, your shoe size does change, I went from a 12 4E to 11 2E, and now it feels like I walk on the bones of my feet when I go barefoot, in which I can no longer do, I have to wear shoes.

My shoe size went down two sizes! I asked something similar early out, it attributed to my height loss :)

My shoe size has been the same, whether I've weighed 150, 280, or 324. Always a 10.

I do hope that my ring size doesn't change though, I've lost 65lbs since surgery and just got engaged... The store it came from only stocks size 6, so we had it resized to a size 7. If it goes to a 6, I will be so annoyed in life.

I never had really big or fat feet even at almost 300 lbs., but I went from a 7 - 7 1/2 down to a 6 - 6 1/2 (and some 5 1/2's). Shoes (among other things) have become a huge addiction for me and everyone now refers to me as Imelda (as in Marcos). In just a bit over a year I have purchased 118 pairs of shoes (and all but about 5 pairs are all 5 inch heels).

Be grateful for what you have,

not ungrateful for what you dont have.

No one ever notices they have fat feet.. at least I didn't lol. I ended up getting rid of pretty much all of them and went from a 8.5 to a 7 and I am about half way to my goal so no telling when or if Ill be getting new shoes again.

good question.

I feel I have worn a size bigger (11) for comfort, in the last few years. I'd be interested to see if I eventually go back to 10's.
