I forgot to take my calcium supplements to work with me yesterday and ended up missing my third one of the day (I take three total). I thought today I would work in four to maybe make up for the missing one. Is this worth doing or would you simply skip it and resume your normal schedule? I know one dose isn't the end of the world, but I'm one of these diligent types. :P

I just start over the next day. Don't forget you do get calcium in your food if you consume dairy products.

The asmbs.org recommendations are 1500 to 2000 a day in addition to your food but I wouldn't worry too much about it, as long as that doesn't become a routine. Can you get a bottle to leave at work? (don't know how much private space you might have?) I did do that at my first job post op, just leave a set of vitamins & calcium there but the space I work now is way too small and confined, sadly.

I wouldn't stress a missed dose of calcium either - multivitamins would be a different matter.

I use calcium citrate tablets and always have a few reserves in my bag (in a small re-labeled prescription container).

Yeah, I thought about bringing a little stash to keep at work with me. Might be the best option for my ever-growing absentmindedness. Senior moments, anyone?

I got 13 years on you babe .... I don't wish to discuss it further! :P

I use a weekly pill organizer - takes a few minutes to dish them out but if I'm going to be out and about, I use one of these - it might help: http://www.walmart.c...000000007346330
