Has anyone had Dr. Bauman as their surgeon? His profile on Obesity Help is impressive and at his seminar he said he's done over 3000 surgeries with a 0% mortality rate and a >2% complication rate. I'm scheduled for my first appointment with him on 2/24/12 and I would really love to hear personal experiences from his patients.

Wow, thanks for responding Mike! I've read reviews about Dr Bauman's lack of bedside manner. I think I can deal with that. I'd rather have someone who is very surgically competant than someone who will laugh and joke with me and then tell me they've ruined my life.
Glad to hear you are doing so well after surgery and 126 pounds in 4 months is PHENOMINAL!

Dr,Bauman knows what he is doing. I just had a revision 10 days ago and i am doing well. He did my first one in 2001 and my pouch had stretched (no fault of his) i didnt comply completely. LOL i have never met a surgeon with a great bedside manner but he "truly" cares about your outcome! I wouldn't go to anyone else!!
Good luck!
Good luck!
