Within the last week I have had 2 blood blisters on the inside of my cheek. I have never had a blood blister in my mouth before and after researching the internet for a cause I found out it could be caused by a vitamin defincency. Has anyone else have this problem?

That sounds so weird. When I clicked on the link, I thought for sure this was going to be in the wrong section by accident...
Did your research say which vitamin it's caused by?

When did you last have lab work drawn, and was it a full bariatric specific panel? I'd be calling my doctor, in any case!!

Jodi - I'd be inclined to get it checked out by the doc. Blood blisters in the mouth could be caused by a number of things.

9/24/07 - Lap. - RNY with umbilical hernia repair

10/27/08 - Open - removal of omental mass, gallbladder, appendix, adhesions

11/12/10 - Open - bilateral femoral hernia repair
