Not all protein are equal. What is the different in the two proteins. Would each one of these meet the criteria.

My surgeon's office gave me my preop instruction and it stated eighter low fate carnation instant breakfast or low fat slim fast. It only said multiviamain and an extra calcium vitamin. Most people say I would need more vitamins than this.

Actinase® is a registered trademark used for Protein Mixture For Use As a Nutritional Ingredient In Various Liquid, Powdered and Solid Food Nutritional Products and owned by Protica, Inc.. Full trade mark registration details, registered images and more information here. ACTINASE Trademark Details

There is no medical evidence of a metabolic benefit of this proprietary formula over whey based protein supplements. In general generic whey supplements are less expensive than proprietary products.

There may be taste differences that make one product more desirable than another. But from nutritional standpoint, whey protein is fine.

not sure if this helps but i found that isopure 100% pure whey protien (you can get it for about 20 dollars at GNC) is pretty damn close to perfect. theres little to no after taste and the creamy vanilla is perfect for any shake or smoothie recipes you can find. it mixes really well into sugar free vanilla pudding and theres no need for a blender! I brught a hydration bottle with a blender ball in it and that was enough to mix it!
