LOL great thread, and its true the changes to one's wedding tackle have been a very unexpected and much welcomed added bonus of WLS.

Pre op it had been so long since I'd been able to see the old guy we sort of lost touch. To be honest my gut was so big (Or were my arms just too short LOL) it was physically hard to reach never mind touch it, and viewing was very much by appointment only :D

Sex was rather sad pre op and when my other half did manage to get some semblance of life in the old soldier it was a pretty tawdry affair. These days its like being a teenager again. More often than not I will wake with a severe case of what we call here "Morning glory" and the once a month or so dreaded three minute sex sessions have changed beyond all belief, go on for ages and are now four or five times a week. And quite often there is someone else there too :D:D

Like many of you I was also gob smacked to find it getting bigger!! and so much stronger, it leaps to attention now at the slightest provocation and refuses to settle down until its been emptied completely.

Good times indeed.

Yeah, I actually have to be a little careful not to hurt the wife now. This has NEVER been an issue before (18 years ago when we married I weighed 50 lbs more than I do now). I much prefer to have too much than not enough :D. Not to mention the wonders it does for your self esteem!! Yes, I am a little cocky...Ha ha

LOL I know exactly how you feel Jim, as does my other half :D. Its much more than just the extra size though, it is the huge number of positions that are now available at 170lbs that were out of reach or slightly difficult when I was even fifty or sixty pounds heavier.

Oh and the greatly improved stamina and quicker recovery times are brilliant too.

I had suprapubic liposuction done after my gastric bypass was done, and I had leveled out. That was wonderful for the "size of yer...um...yeah."!!

Interesting. After I had iinitially lost my weight I had some extra skin in that area that I wondered if it could be tightenend up. Over time it has pretty much "leveled out" on its own. Just curious, was that very painful?

No, not painful at all. I had so much skin hanging that it blocked my penis. I feel great about the way it looks, but I think the doc could have done even more too. I am new to this site, so I don't know of there is a way to show you the results. But I would if I could. (all within good forum guidelines, of course!)

Thanks

LOL. I'm pretty sure there's no way to those before-and-afters would fly here. But it they they did, I say most (if not all) of the WLS guys are now "proud members" (pun intended). :D

You hate to admit it, but the surgery has done wonders for my self image. (does that make me a "dick"?? LOL) But when you go from being hideous to average, well, I'll take that any day!

I meant funny ha ha, in a good way....not funny weird in a bad way.

I enjoyed reading the thread, it was the first smile I had today.

I figured my question about why we were funny would lose my meaning in translation! I just wanted to make sure that you didn't think I was offended by the question.

I am glad you got a smile out of the thread. It's a very touchy subject. (the jokes are writing themselves!) But I am glad to have a forum to discuss the topic!

The movie Goodfellows comes to mind, where Joe Peshe jumps on Ray Liotta with a gun when he tells him "Your funny"....great movie.

Anyway I'm new here but am finding good people...and some funny ones too.:)

I'd never heard of this before but did a quick search about it. I just hope I can get the images off my browsing history before my company laptop goes in for its service LOL. :D

Chuff me man did it hurt? I got a tummy ache and my eyes were watering just thinking about it, which I didn't do for long I can tell you. Find a happy place, find a happy place :o

Oh and please feel free to not copy me in on the before and after email you send to WATFAM LOL :D

Seriously congrats on having the balls (No pun intended) to go through that mate

There was some pain, but no more than the gastric bypass. But it was WELL worth the pain, because I just think I am "normal" now. As opposed to hideous before the surgery

My surgeon was very candid with me after our first consult...for every 10-20lbs lost you gain an inch...so at my 1 month post op consult and after losing 50lbs my first comment was "If I keep losing weight and gaining inches I am quitting my day job and going into porn"

Yeah, there may be a range of weight where that math works, but I think it is more of a guideline for those who are starting at less than 50-100 lbs overweight. I've lost 250 lbs, so that would work out to...side show freak

The inch per 20 pounds is not quite accurate - my honey lost 250 pounds....you do the math. I would not be alive to tell the tale - though I could certainly tell a few.

That being said, without the fat to interfere, you can see what you always had plus - and this is MUCH more important - most of you guys get serious into exercise and fitness and your blood flow greatly increases - THAT is what really makes the difference. Doesn't matter what is possible if you don't have the circulation to make the most of it.

Yee Haw!!:P
