Hibiclens Shower

I was just curious about how many people had to take an hibiclens shower. Ok now do I get to use that on the "muffin" area as well. I am a clean freak. I bathe at least 3 times a day :rolleyes:

. I work in the healthcare field so I know what hibiclens smells like. So I guess what I want to know is am I suppose to bathe before and after bed? And after washing with the hibiclens can I get my Dove soap on? I know its kind of silly but I guess maybe I am getting nervous about that time approaching.

I have been away for a little while, so I assume you are having plastic surgery. You will scrub before and after bed, and no, you don't want to use anything, soap, lotion, or anything else after your shower. Good luck with the surgery. Prayers for a speedy recovery.

No Traci no I am not having plastic surgery I am still pre-op. I wish I was post-op going in for plastic surgery. Just in the packet my surgeons office gave me it says something about a Hibiclens shower. So I was just wondering about it. I love showering I just want to make sure I do it right. I am sure they will explain it more when I go in for my pro-op appointment. Thanks Traci.

I had to do the hibicleanse shower. I got my binder out and here are my directions.
The night before surgery take a shower wash your entire abdomen with hibicleanse. Do not apply any other products to the area.
The morning of surgery take a shower wash entire abdomen with hibicleanse. After your shower apply hibicleanse to your entire abdomen, let dry, and get dressed.
I'm sure it is different for everybody and call the doc to make sure, but I hope this helps a little. Good luck!
