VBAC after Vsg

Anyone? I know it's probably considered high risk already due to the vsg.

If you type "VBAC" into our search engine (upper right), you'll see that there aren't that many threads on the VBAC and some of them refer to pregnancy (vaginal birth after cesarean) anyway.

I was not allowed a VBAC after VSG I had had a previous C-section 13 years prior but Iw as only 1.5 year out of VSG so they would not allow me to even try a VBAC . Hope that helps!!

It is likely to depend on your facility, your OB, your other risk factors, and how soon out from surgery you are. VBAC in general is higher risk; many of our docs will not do a VBAC if there has been abdominal surgery in the last two years - but then, some don't support VBAC at all if there is any other risk associated (high blood pressure, history of preeclampsia, etc). I'd talk with your OB about their opinion, and get a second opinion if you're still not sure.
