Hello everybody! This of course you know is my very first post. I'm so excited to tell you all that my surgery is tomorrow. I am scheduled to have gastric bypass. My current weight is 312 and my goal weight is 180.  I am looking forward to sharing my journey with all of you. You all take care and have a wonderful day!

Welcome!  Your gastric bypass starting and goal weights are very similar to mine, so you really can lose your extra weight and keep it off.

We are here to support and inform you on your weight loss surgery journey.

Everything went well.  I was really nauseated while in recovery and had gas pain most of the evening. It got better after I started walking the hospital floors. As of this moment, I have no pain or nausea.  I feel great!

Wow! Sounds great. I'm hoping for something like this for myself on Friday!

Thanks to everyone for your support and kind words. I was discharged from the hospital a few hours ago and I'm at home now working on getting in my hydration and protein.  Can't wait to see my finished product!

I'm doing well. No pain from the surgery, just have a little gas from time to time and some itching from the site of the incisions. How are you doing since surgery?

I'm glad your doing well my wounds became infected with blisters so that set me back a bit eating and drinking is painful when it goes down and everything tastes horrid apart from that it's getting better each day
