New ink - again!

Recommended Posts

Just got my last one in March but this weekend the MN tattoo convention rolled close enough by -  and I just and an itch to go!   BF was game, he's not into tattoos but was at a Casino so the prospect of playing cards appealed; so off we went.

Wasn't sure I'd be able to get tatted -  hard to guess with conventions with amount of people, amount of people getting tats, the size they are getting and thus how long they are taking up artists time etc;  but I had a handful of ideas in mind and was ready with my pics if I found someone available.   I viewed all of the 60 or so artists portfolios before making my pics;  getting a gauge for what they seemed the best at so I could determine which tat I wanted that particular artist to do.

First artist I picked I knew she was the right one for my Lilac tattoo.  She didn't have any openings until 9pm though - but a quick text to BF out on the blackjack tables to confirm he was fine waiting 8 more hours, I booked with her.   So glad I waited!   It is more 'muted' in color by choice.

And because I had 8 hours to kill waiting for that above tat -  I found another artist who happens to be local who had an opening that worked into my timeframe!  It turned out exactly like the pic and exactly as adorable as I knew it was!  Super happy and super excited he is local to me and definatly looking forward to getting some more work done by him!

The otter tat actually had a caption that said "I love you lotter"....   but I didn't want the writing hehe.  See how their little tails form a heart though!   BF said  "I suppose I'm the fat otter"

Very nice.  Going this week for one on my inner arm,  My third.  The 4th will be on my outer arm.  It has a lot more detail and won't fit on my inner arm as I had hoped.  It is great fun!  Keep the pictures coming

Awesome work.  I'm definitely getting more once my body settles.  I have my right arm started but want to do a full half sleeve on it.

Those are both so cute! The lilac one is beautiful - I love the coloring. I have 3, but I'm itching to get so many more, they're just so much money! Eventually I'd like to get my starting weight in roman numerals down my side, or on my ribs - once I reach my goal weight. Something that reminds me where I started, and how far I've (hopefully!) come.

Nice Jolls. My first thought was look at the pretty lilacs on her little arm. I hope I'm right your second photo are otters, because a they are really sweet.   What is it like to go to a convention. Do they charge by the hour?

This one is mine Jolls, it was a cover up and done over a visit or two.
