Excellent choices today gals.

I have a new jam to add to my running playlist. High by Sir Sly.

Though im sure it is about drugs, I relate it to food/obesity. Here's the catchy chorus:

"Feels good to be running from the devil

Another breath and I'm up another level

Feels good to be up above the clouds

i feel good for the first time in a long time now"

yep. That pretty much sums up how I feel.

Bon Jovi ~ It's My Life

These words are what I live by:

It's my life
It's now or never
I ain't gonna live forever
I just want to live while I'm alive

Off the Ground - the Record Company

I think this song applies to abusing food and/or other addictions. This line in particular speaks to me:

Yeah, now I got the answer to my biggest question
Had to loose where I was to get my direction

I am going to see them live tonight!

SO GOOD! One of the best shows I have seen in years. I'm trying to figure out where I can travel to see them play again.

Hey - things have been great. It is amazing what becomes the new norm. I am sure i am not alone when saying it feels like I have always lived a healthy lo\ifestyle!

Welcome back!  :)

Which I guess makes a classic tune appropriate:

Welcome Back - John Sebastian

Sad news, Linkin Park's Chester Bennington is dead at age 41, probably of suicide.  To that end, it seems appropriate to list his very recent rendition of Hallelujah at Chris Cornell's memorial service.

Thanks Jeff - I will try and check in as time allows. I feel the need to give back as there were many that supported me along the way.

I was never a big Linkin Park fan, it's just not my genre. I did like the Numb/Encore mash up they did with Jay Z.

However, I did love Shadow of the Day and so that is my song for today.
