A few gals from obesityhelp.com that live in the area and I have decided to get together for lunch next Saturday. I have not met this group before but they have had WLS and donT know many in the area that have had it. I would love it if any of you guys would be interested in going with me next Saturday. Let me know if you are interested in going and meeting new friends.
Today I went on my Saturday walk with a gal I met from obesityhelp named Susannah. She lives in Alpine and doesnt know anyone who had the surgery... she's a very sweet person. She had her surgery done by Dr. Wittgrove, she said that she begun her process with Dr. Callery, but was told she needed the 6 month documentation of weight loss history, so she went to Dr Wittgrove and paid cash. She is a grat gal, Im glad I met her. Like I said if any of you are interested in having lunch next week and want to meet some new faces gimme a shout! Or a private email and I will share the details (location) with ya!

I really like their chicken tortilla soup! I'm up for it. It's amazing that so many WLS docs in this area don't have support groups. Let me know the time and location. Maybe I'll even get my lazy butt up early to go walk with ya'll before lunch. I'll split my soup with someone!

Lunch today was awesome, a huge group turned out! From this group, there was Angela, Pam, Marie, Melanie, Dara,Tracie and myself! I have to say it was alot of fun! There was like 20 of us and the bill came to something like $95.00 Boy are we a cheap date! It was good seeing you ladies!!! I learned alot from you guys today, especially you Melanie!!!!!
