Thank you you guys!!!!
My day WAS wonderful!!! The girls at the office made my work day the greatest, they ordered a Tres Leche birthday cake for me, oh my gosh, was it ever incredible, even my doc went out of his way to make it a day to remember, the girls said that was a first for him,  and having my mother here from Idaho was fantastic, first time since 1974 I've gotten to share a birthday with her, and John ALWAYS makes my birthday extra special well, he makes EVERY day special
This year has been even MORE special having ALL of you in my life and having had this surgery has made all the difference in the world!
You're my family, and I love you all more than you can even know or imagine, even if I'm not here as much as I'd like to be, I hope you realize that you mean SO much to me, and that I'd never have gotten this far without you...
I truly love you from the bottom of my heart~
now, dangit.... where's my Kleenex~

I know that cake had to have been good. Unfortunately that one makes me dump real bad.

It's funny... That's the ONLY cake I CAN eat! LOL A tiny bit of, of course! It doesn't make me dump or even raise my blood sugar because there's such a small amount of sugar in it, and I don't usually drink milk of any kind because it really DOES make me dump, but, for some reason, this doesn't.... weird huh? It had peaches and pineapple in the filling with whipped cream, and when I got up this morning, after going to Red Lobster for their shrimp fest, I had shrimp, my "best", and a few bites of salad and a couple bites of baby carrots, I was down a pound! Must have done something right on my birthday, ya think?
I HAVE started walking DOWN the five flights of stairs after work everyday instead of using the elevator! And I use the stairs in the parking garage climbing UP every morning.... only 2 floors though.... must be helping, the scales keep moving... 
Next time I go to Dr. Callery's office, I will FINALLY "do" his stairs. At 422 pounds, there was no earthly way.... 
Now, I think I can I think I can I think I can...  |
