Talking I have an idea for some fun

I have a cool idea for a rendez-vous between all the North County, Even More North County and the way-out-o-town-ies.

I'm sure some of you know of this place, but just north of Temecula in Corona there is the coolest day spa called Glen Ivy. This place is made for people like us, that want to pretend we're rich for a day. It costs something like $45, and you get treated like a queen. There are about 30 different kinds of pools to hang in, from their hot mineral springs to champagne pools, salt water pools, regular pools, on and on. If you ARE made of money it's a great place to get a massage, facial, nails, etc, but you don't have to. It's adults only, and the food is very fresh and healthy--yummy things like chicken caesar salads, black bean southwestern wraps, awesome iced tea that you can refill all day long. I have seen every size and shape of person at this place, and believe me, you're so busy feeling good that it doesn't matter if the person next to you is 80, weighs 512 lbs and is wearing a bikini! Oh, they also have a rocking mudbath area.

I would be excited to go on a field trip there, would anyone else like to join me? Date is not important, it's just the best if you get there early in the day (9:00am) to take advantage of all the cool stuff. Look it up on line--I think it's www.glenivy.com is my guess. Anyone want to call in sick and take a road trip? It's well worth it!

Default Count me in!

That sounds wonderful....I would definitely be game for a roadtrip there. It's pretty close to where I live too (only about 1 1/2 hours). The website has a Two-for-one Tuesdays special thru next March where you purchase one admission and get a second for free. I promised myself a spa day when I hit 150 pounds and that should be any day now and I could really use the me time.

Anyone have an idea for a date to do this?

The way they charge is something like $42 for Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs. Friday, Sat, Sun is like $45. We can't do it on a Monday or Sunday...otherwise, we cool. I know there were some other women who wanted to go as well. Let's get an idea of the day, and I'll find out if there is a group discount. I think it would be lovely!
