Sorry guys doesn't look like I will make the Vegas trip in October. I have to take care of my Mom who had a massive stroke last year and suffers from being an insulin dependant diabetic since her left side is still flacid she is unable to draw her own insulin and relys on me to care for her. I didn't think about that at first so I apologize in advance for saying I'd be there. Karen and I are thinking of organizing a Disneyland trip for those who can't go away for the whole weekend. If anyone is interested let us know. Sorry again.

Things happen... I was talking to Gerry and he said he didnt know if he was going to be able to make it either... we can plan for it later if ya want... or if there are enough people who still want to go... give a hollar! OK guys I have a friend who is going to be in Vegas 11, 12, and 13 of Oct and I haven't seen him in forever. I would like to go 8th with you guys and then just stay and fly back. Road trip sounds cool so lets do it. I'm going to look at hotels right now online. One room will work for the three of us right? Now lets see if anyone else is really down for going to. We need to know soon so we can get our room. I will reserve the hotel rooms we need no big deal. Does this work for you girls and guys?

It would appear as if this event isn't going to happen. So, to conclude it, I am offering an open invitation to anyone who finds themselves in Las Vegas. You are welcome to stay at our place for your visit if you'd like. Otherwise, feel free to contact me and we'll meet somewhere for a nice cup of soup or something.
