Flying
Who is up for Flying there? Actually, I have to wait til 8/18 to see if I can get a Fri or Mon Off, otherwise I can only commit to Fri night though Sun night.
I dont wanna burst any Road Trip bubbles but if you only havce the two days and part night, Flying ther would be the way to go.
As a matter of fact, the way my Boss is I doubt she give me the time off. 95% sure she wont.
So (as with my friends and my away Chargers Trip we have every year(except forthe last two)) I will volunteer to to book a group flight if we get enough flyers.
(Can I have my crappy peanuts now please)

I'll Fly
Yeah, I'm with Gerry & Cyndie,
I wanna fly. Can't we get Southwest's $39 each way flights? I don't want to waste time. Lets just fly and rent a big mini van or something.

Houston We Got A Problem!!!
I heard Southwest discriminates against the Supersized.. so therefore since I haven't had the surgery yet it's gonna cost me twice as much ! hahahahaha... I heard they charge fat people for two seats! I'm sure i'll squeeze all my goodness into one seat though.. i'm just messing with y'all.. We can make a party out of it.. BYOBE (Bring Your Own Belt Extender).. lol..Just thinking of that I can't wait to be on the other side with you guys!

I flew SWA recently and it was still a tight squeeze. Luckily, it was a short flight to AZ. Unless you fly first class, most airlines will charge for 2 seats if you need to take up 2 seats.
Hmm, the last night I partied like a diva.....what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas I recall something like 20 people crashing in a 2 room suite
I can the split the costs either way; staying at Woody's or on the Strip. Hmmmm, maybe a hotel room would be a bit better. I can get a bit wild and make quite the mess
It's actually faster for me to drive as it takes almost 2 hours to get to the airport, plus the extra hour needed to check in, then waiting for the rental van, etc. We can meet at my house, whichever vehiclewe take. I have plenty of driveway to park and leave the cars safely for the weekend.

Lets do both
We can organize a "meet up spot" then some can fly and some can drive. I am going to end up driving, because I am bringing my 2 kids with me... dont fret people, my best friend lives there, her son babysits... but they are family to me so the kids will want to see them.... unless I can talk the ex into keeping them, then I will fly. It is only $39 each way right now... thats awesome... I think we get 2 rooms some where and crash out... if your into that... I dont mind, who sleeps in Vegas anyway? Its more like power napping... or I can stay with my girlfriend...... Email me privately and suggest any good hotels, then we can start getting organized with this stuff... I dont want any of you to post where we will be staying okay... just for safety reasons and this info being made public on the world wide web... deal? Emil me with ideas, your favorites, good bargains, etc. Let me know if you are down to crash with a bunch of folks or going to find your own accomodations... lets get this party started!

Sorry it has been forever since I even logged in! What a week! Anyway, I am traveling for work the end of Sep and a week in Oct, if I can swing the time from the kids, I would love to go! Please keep me in the loop.

Paying for flights
One time I organized a trip to Denver, the airlines had all the peoples names and each person called in and paid with a credit card. It's easier than everyone trying to get $$ all to one person.
