Talking I hope its not a side effect of WLS...

or heavens forbid a type of computer virus thingie. But has anyone else noticed the sudden increase of....."I think I am pregnant" posts? Scary!!! Just as a precaution I wrapped my keyboard in saran-wrap. Always best to be protected!

ROFLMAO at wrapping your keyboard in Saran Wrap!

Seriously though...I think it really is kind of a side effect from WLS. Once a woman starts losing weight, her hormones go wacky, and it's VERY easy to get pregnant.

I agree Sherry. I was in full blown menopause for three years and got my period in January-huh? And my skin broke out and I was craving chocolate and sex...like the clock went backwards.

If i found out i was pregnant, i would have to retro-actively abort myself. SERIOUSLY! A 22 year old, 12 year old twins and a neutered husband spells
T-R-O-U-B-L-E for me...wouldnt you agree?

My Dr. told me that it is easier to get pregnant cause your body when in the "fat" stage (Please dont hate me cause of that term) But it will cause your Hormones and your monthly visitor to get all wacky and not be "Normal." Believe me, mine would never start around the same time....

Then your body loses weight and starts to get to a normal weight and your hormones and monthly thing start to get normal therefore causing a higher chance of pregnancy.

There have been several times where I thought I was pregnant and turned out I wasnt.... I went 3 months without one and it scared the living day lights out of me!!!

BE CAREFUL!!! haha

That is friggin' hilarious!!! I know what you mean! We must all be in sync! Ha ha! Hopefully, let's say around July-August, I'll get some of that magic potion! Ha ha! I didn't know this, but estrogen is stored in fat cells, as well. So, when you lose weight, you lose estrogen...don't know if that has anything to do with it....

This post definitely made me laugh. But I know that I am safe...considering I had a total hysterectomy and then 2 years later had my ovarys out. So there is no way I am in fear of ANYTHING!!!! LOL!
